57th series of the Assemblies of WIPO (Geneva, 2-11 October 2017)
The 57th series of meetings of the Assemblies of the Member States of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), participated by 191 member states, began on 2 October 2017 in Geneva. The Hungarian Intellectual Property Office is represented by Mr Viktor Łuszcz, President, Mr András Jókúti, Director General for Legal Affairs, Mr Csaba Baticz, Head of the Legal and International Department (LID) and Ms Katalin Hofstädter, Legal Officer of the LID. The Hungarian delegation also includes Mr Zoltán Nemessányi, Deputy Secretary of State for International Judicial Cooperation of the Ministry of Justice, who has been elected Vice-Chair of the Assembly of the WIPO Copyright Treaty and Vice-Chair of the Assembly of the WIPO Performances and Phonograms Treaty. Mr Csaba Baticz has been elected Vice-Chair of the Assembly of the Lisbon Union. Hungary will be member of the Program and Budget Committee as well as of the Coordination Committee till October 2019.
